THE MEANING OF THE JERSEY NUMBER
A jersey number. A name. A story.
Each participant will carry a jersey number with the name of a girl or woman linked to the projects of Red Girls Project, in Uganda, Kenya and Mali.
Behind every name there is a true story.
And behind each step, a gesture of recognition, memory, and empowerment.
Running or walking thus becomes a way of to give voice to stories that are not always visible.
FESTIVE DAY AND ACTIVITIES
The race is part of a open day for all citizens, with a festive and participatory atmosphere:
Recreational and family activities
The day will include recreational activities designed especially for a family audience, with the aim of reinforcing the inclusive and educational nature of the event.
Animation and dynamization
To enhance the festive atmosphere, music and other entertainment are planned before, during, and after the race.
Information spaces
Information spaces will be set up where attendees can learn firsthand about the projects and values of Red Girls Project.
Solidarity bar
During the event, a charity bar and shop will be set up, with all proceeds going to Red Girls Project projects.
